Collection: Shredder Oils & Maintenance Products

Lubrication is the single highest-value maintenance habit for a cross-cut or micro-cut shredder, and the one most often skipped. An unlubricated cutting head works harder, runs hotter, jams more often and wears out years earlier than it needs to.

The method is simple. Each time you empty the waste bin, run a thin line of shredder oil across the full width of the feed opening, then run the machine in reverse for a few seconds to spread it along the shafts. That is it. Machines with an automatic oiler do this for themselves and only need the reservoir topped up.

Use purpose-made shredder oil and nothing else. Aerosol lubricants and petroleum-based products can damage the cutting head, and on many machines using them voids the warranty. Lubricant sheets are a convenience product rather than a substitute; they deposit less oil than a proper application and cost considerably more per use.

This range covers HSM lubricant in 12 oz and 16 oz bottles, gallon bottles and multi-packs, plus intimus oil by the case. Full method, frequency guidance and what ruins cutting heads: how to oil a paper shredder. Other consumables are in accessories and parts.
