Dahle 20719 is a high viscosity shredder oil that Dahle specifies for the PowerTEC® 747 CS paper and optical media shredder. It is thicker than Dahle's everyday shredder oil, so it stays on the cutting cylinders of that heavy, chain-driven machine instead of draining off. The box holds six 10 oz bottles and is meant for owners keeping a 747 CS in regular service.

Applying high viscosity oil to the 747 CS

Run a thin line of oil across the whole width of the feed opening, then put the shredder in reverse for a few seconds to spread it over the cylinders. Small, regular doses do more good on a heavy media machine than a big squirt after a jam. Do not oil with paper in the throat, and never use vegetable oil or aerosol lubricants.
