Shredder Master — commercial & high-security shredding equipment

Shredders specified by security level, not by guesswork

We supply deskside, office, department, autofeed and industrial shredders from HSM, Kobra, Dahle, Destroyit, Intimus, Fellowes and GBC — over 590 machines, every one listed with its DIN 66399 security level, cut size and sheet capacity. Where a model is on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List we say so, and where it is only DIN P-7 we say that too.

Authorized dealer

Shredder Master is an authorized dealer for every brand we carry — HSM, Kobra, Dahle, MBM Destroyit, intimus, ACCO/GBC and Fellowes. Machines are new stock supplied through the manufacturer's authorized channel, and carry the manufacturer's own warranty on the terms published for that model.

Find the right machine

Shredders are specified, not browsed. Take the guided route, or go straight to the range that matches how your organisation works.

Guided selection

Not sure which machine you need?

Six questions. We shortlist three machines and show you exactly why each one fits. Skip anything you are not sure about.

  1. Who is it for?
  2. How sensitive is the material?
  3. How much goes in at once?
  4. What else has to be destroyed?
  5. Do you have a budget in mind?
  6. Anything else that matters?

Offices, clinics and professional firms

Deskside to departmental machines for HR files, payroll, patient records and client paperwork. P-4 is the practical baseline once personal data is involved; P-5 where the material is meant to stay secret.

Typically P-3 to P-5 · cross and micro cut

Government, defense and cleared contractors

Where the requirement is NSA/CSS 02-01 rather than a marketing claim. We list the DIN level and the Evaluated Products List status separately, because they are not the same thing.

Typically P-6 to P-7 · micro cut · TAA-compliant options

Industrial, recycling and shred rooms

Continuous-duty machines, baler combinations and PET crushers for operations that destroy by the pallet rather than by the folder.

Continuous duty · up to 550 sheets per pass

Choose by security level

A level is a measured output specification, not a badge a vendor awards itself. Every figure below is a maximum particle area. P-7 is the highest level the standard defines — there is no P-8.

Read the complete DIN 66399 guide

A DIN P-7 rating and an NSA/CSS listing are not the same thing. P-7 describes the particle the machine produces; NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 also requires the exact model to appear on the Evaluated Products List. Where a model is listed we say so on its product page — see the NSA/CSS approved range.

Why trust these numbers

Written by people who specify these machines

Eleven guides covering the standards, the compliance rules and the arithmetic behind a purchase.

  • 15+ years in data destruction A specialist shredding supplier, not a general office reseller. Technelium LLC, San Diego, shipping free across the USA.
  • 543 machines with verified specifications Security level, cut size, sheet capacity, throat width and bin volume checked against the manufacturer's own datasheet — not copied from a marketplace listing.
  • We publish it when a machine falls short Where a model meets the P-7 particle size but is not on the NSA Evaluated Products List, the product page says so. Where a model number overstates sheet capacity, we print the real figure.

Paper Shredder Security Levels Explained: The Complete DIN 66399 Guide

DIN 66399 defines seven paper security levels, P-1 through P-7, each set by a maximum particle surface area rather than by a marketing label. This is the full table, what each level is genuinely appropriate ...
