Collection: Cardboard Box Shredders

These machines do something different from a document shredder. Rather than destroying information, they convert used cardboard into packaging material: the box is fed in flat and comes out either as a perforated, expandable mat or as loose fill, ready to protect goods in an outbound carton.

The range covers the HSM ProfiPack line — the C400 perforator, the P425 padding machine in single-phase and three-phase versions, and the ecoChip chipper — along with the Kobra Flexpack and the intimus PacMaster. Larger models are three-phase and some are offered with a dust extractor or a vacuum conversion kit; those add-ons are in Vacuum & Filtration.

The case for one of these is usually arithmetic rather than sustainability alone. If you receive cardboard and buy void fill, you are paying twice — once to dispose of the boxes and once to replace what they could have become. Warehouses, e-commerce fulfilment and logistics operations tend to see the shortest payback.
