Collection: Shredder Accessories & Parts

Most shredders that fail early do not fail because of the motor. They fail because the cutting head was never lubricated, because the bin was overfilled until the machine was working against its own waste, or because a consumable was substituted for something that did not fit. This section covers the parts that prevent that.

What is here: shredder lubricant in bottles and cases; waste bags sized to specific machines; collection bins and wheeled carts; fine dust filters and vacuum kits; and strapping tape and wire for baler and shredder-baler installations.

Two points worth getting right. Use shredder oil, not a general-purpose lubricant — aerosol and petroleum-based products can damage the cutting head and, on some machines, void the warranty. And match bags and bins to the model rather than to the nominal gallon figure, since bin openings and frames differ between manufacturers.

Oiling is the single highest-value maintenance habit for a cross-cut or micro-cut machine: a thin line across the feed opening each time you empty the bin. The method is in how to oil a paper shredder. If you need a component that is not listed, use the spare parts request form.
