About Us
ShredderMaster.com is owned and operated by Technelium LLC, based in San Diego, California. We sell paper shredders, industrial shredding and baling machines, and the consumables that keep them running — and we help people choose between them, which is the part most shredder retailers skip.
Why this store exists
The site began with an ordinary problem. Will, who leads the eCommerce team at Technelium LLC, was doing his usual spring cleaning and found that his old shredder had died. Being a detail-oriented person, he set about replacing it — and found the process absurd. Model information lived on one site, datasheets on another, and cross-referencing security levels meant opening a dozen tabs and building his own comparison by hand. Once he had a shortlist, he again had to check pricing across several stores before he could buy.
The gap was obvious: there was no single place where all the major shredding brands were listed with comparable specifications and sensible pricing. He put the team to work, and ShredderMaster.com is the result — a catalogue assembled by hand, model by model, from manufacturer data.
Who we are
The storefront launched in 2025, but the people behind it are not new to this. We have been in the shredding industry for more than 15 years, and that experience is the reason the site is built around assessment rather than upselling. We would rather ask what you are shredding, how much of it, and how often, and then point you at the right machine — even when it is the cheaper one.
We believe in humanising the purchase process. That philosophy runs through ShredderMaster.com and all the websites that Technelium LLC owns and operates.
What we carry
Just under 600 products across seven manufacturers. We are an authorized dealer for every one of them:
- HSM of America — the widest range on the site, from desk-side SECURIO models to Powerline industrial machines.
- Kobra — Italian-built machines designed around continuous-duty motors.
- Dahle — German shredders, including the oil-free and fine-dust-filtered CleanTEC line.
- MBM Destroyit — large-office and central-station machines.
- intimus — strong at both high-security P-7 and three-phase industrial work.
- Fellowes — home and small-office machines with jam prevention and auto-feed.
- ACCO — GBC and Swingline, including TAA-compliant models for public-sector buyers.
You can browse every shredder by brand, or by the way you actually buy: by use case, from personal and small office through medium office and large office up to high-capacity industrial; by DIN security level; or by cut type — strip-cut, cross-cut and micro-cut. Consumables and spares are in Accessories & Parts.
Authorized dealer
Shredder Master is an authorized dealer for every brand we carry — HSM, Kobra, Dahle, MBM Destroyit, intimus, ACCO/GBC and Fellowes. For a buyer that is not a marketing line. It is the difference between a machine the manufacturer stands behind and one it does not.
It means four things in practice. Machines are new stock supplied through the manufacturer's own authorized channel — not grey-market units diverted from another market, not parallel imports, and not refurbished stock sold as new. They carry the manufacturer's own warranty, on the terms published for that model; buying through an unauthorized reseller is one of the more reliable ways to find yourself outside that cover. Consumables and spares are genuine parts from the same manufacturer, which matters more than it sounds when a cutting head, a bin frame or a filter is model-specific. And we have direct access to each manufacturer's technical support and current documentation, which is what lets us answer a real question about a duty cycle or a three-phase installation rather than reading you the datasheet you already have.
What we do not claim: we hold no GSA schedule, no ISO certification and no manufacturer partner tier or dealer level — and no retailer is “NSA approved”, because NSA/CSS 02-01 evaluates individual shredder models onto the Evaluated Products List rather than approving businesses. The full statement, brand by brand, is on our authorized dealer page.
Who we serve
Since inception we have sold to individuals and to organisations of every size — small and medium businesses, enterprises, and government agencies. Three groups make up most of our work:
- Offices, from a single reception desk to a whole floor served by one central shred station.
- Government and defence buyers, who need high-security machines and, for classified material, models from the NSA/CSS approved range.
- Industrial and recycling operations, running shredder-baler combinations and PET crushers in continuous duty.
Why buy here
Specifications on this site are taken from manufacturers' own published data rather than from marketing copy. We ship across the continental US, with free shipping on our catalogue, and we are reachable by phone and email when a datasheet is not enough.
We also publish the guidance we would give you on the phone. Start with paper shredder security levels explained, or go straight to what applies to you: what shred size HIPAA requires, the FACTA disposal rule, CUI and NSA/CSS 02-01 requirements, or how to choose an industrial shredder. To compare machines side by side, use the comparison page and the specifications reference. You can also browse all of our guides and resources.
