Collection: Intimus Security Shredders & Document Protection

intimus is a German brand within the Martin Yale Group, and its catalogue on this site is strongest at the two ends of the market rather than the middle.

At one end is high security. The 45 CP7, 60 CP7, 120 CP7 and 175 CP7 all cut to 0.8 x 4.5 mm, comfortably inside the DIN P-7 limit of 5 mm², with sheet capacities of 5 to 9 and bins from 12 to 46 gallons. Note that meeting DIN P-7 is not the same as NSA/CSS 02-01 approval, which additionally requires Evaluated Products List membership — see the government approved range.

At the other end is industrial. The 14.87, 14.95, 16.50S and 16.86 machines run 220 V three-phase with throats of 17 to 20 inches and throughput from roughly 140 to 550 sheets per pass at P-2 and P-3, and several are offered paired with the 870 baler. Between the two sits the office range — 60, 120, 130 and 175 series at P-4 and P-5 — along with the Omnishred, HDD Gladiator and SSD Granulator for digital media, and the PacMaster cardboard converter.
