The intimus OmniShred 115 is the high-capacity cabinet in the OmniShred line: a P-4 shredder with a 3.6 x 43 mm cross-cut, a 12 in (305 mm) paper slot and a 250 x 130 mm top hopper, all mounted over a 30-gallon (115-liter) removable cardboard container. It destroys the same broad mix of paper, cards, discs, fobs, passports and pharmacy packaging as the OmniShred 85. Choose it when destruction comes in large batches and you would rather swap a full container than stop to empty a bin.

Why the cardboard container changes the workflow

Instead of a rigid bin to tip out, the 115 collects waste in a lined corrugated container. When it is full, the operator lifts it out complete, closes it and slides in a fresh one. That suits sites that pass destroyed waste to a disposal contractor as a sealed unit, and it avoids the dust cloud that comes with tipping cross-cut particles by hand. Containers are a consumable, so keep a stock with the machine: without a spare on hand, the shredder sits idle. Bags are not supplied.

Mixed loads fill space quickly. Pill bottles, blister strips and cardboard take up far more room per item than flat paper, which is exactly where the larger container pays off.

The two-opening design is shared with the 85.
