A shredder box is the cardboard insert that lines the waste bin of a floor-standing shredder. It holds the shred, keeps it off the cabinet walls, and lifts out in one piece when it is full — faster and cleaner than tipping a loose bin, and it goes into the recycling stream with its contents.

These are model-specific. The box has to match the bin footprint and the frame it sits in, so order from your shredder model rather than from a nominal capacity. A cardboard insert and a plastic waste bag do the same job in different ways. The box is more rigid and easier to carry out when full; the bag is cheaper per use and suits smaller desk-side machines. The plastic option is in shredder bags, also listed by machine.
