The range

Collection: Strapping Wire & Tape Products

Balers and shredder-baler combinations need strapping to hold a finished bale together, and the specification is machine-specific rather than generic. Using the wrong grade is not a small economy: an under-rated tape lets a bale relax or burst in handling, and an oversized one will not run through the machine's strapping mechanism.

The HSM range is graded by machine family. WG 30 suits the 8TE, Dixi 4S to 6SL and V-Press 503 to 605; WG 40 the 12 Gigant, Dixi 15S to 18S and the V-Press 600 to 800 series; WG 55 the V-Press 860, 1160 and VL 500; and WG 65 the CP 4988, Dixi 30S to 60S and HL 3521 S. HD 65 is the heavy-duty option, rated to 950 kg in 400 m rolls. Strapping wire at 2.8 mm covers the VK 12 to VK 42 machines, and tape clamps are supplied in boxes of 1,000. intimus balers use the ST1 baler strap.

Order from the machine model rather than from tape width alone, and keep a spare roll on site — running out stops the baler, not just the strapping.

The machines these serve are in shredder-baler combinations and PET crushers.
