Wire-tied balers need wire, not clamps

Presses that tie with wire close their bales differently. The V-Press 840, 860 and 1160 use pre-looped eyelet wire, and HSM's VK channel balers use coiled strapping wire. A box of clamps is no use on either.

Working out how many boxes you need

Multiply straps per bale by the number of bales you make, and you have your clamp usage. A press applying two straps to every bale empties a box in 500 bales. Reorder clamps at the same time as tape: a press with tape but no seals is just as stopped as one with no tape.
