The old product name lists different dimensions - which are right?
HSM's technical data for article 1340995200 gives 16.89 x 14.06 x 21.06 inches, or 429 x 357 x 535 mm, width by depth by height. The 14 x 12 x 21 inch and 28 gallon figures that appear in the older listing name do not come from HSM and are being removed. Order against the part number and the manufacturer dimensions above.
What capacity is it really?
HSM does not publish a rated volume for this carton, so we will not print the 28 gallon claim. Its external dimensions enclose roughly 82 litres, about 22 US gallons, and usable capacity is somewhat less once flaps and cabinet clearance are allowed for. Treat that as a planning figure.
Will a Classic 390 box fit instead?
No. The 390 carton, article 1365995200, is 527 x 390 x 589 mm - larger in all three directions. It will not go into a 225 cabinet. If your machine plate reads 390 rather than 225, order that article instead.
Does it ship flat?
Yes, HSM supplies these collecting boxes as corrugated cartons that fold to shape on site, so they take up almost no storage space until needed. No tape or tools are required for normal use, and a change takes well under a minute once one is folded and standing by.
