HSM part 2410995200 (article 2.410.995.200) is the cardboard dust collection box for the HSM DE 4-100 and DE 4-240 dust extraction units, not a waste box for a shredder cabinet. These extractors are mounted on HSM Powerline heavy-duty shredders, and this flat 15.55 x 23.62 x 7.87 in (395 x 600 x 200 mm) tray catches the fine paper dust they draw out of the cutting chamber.

What the dust extractor box does

Heavy shredding throws off a fine, abrasive paper dust. The DE 4 extractor pulls it out of the shredding chamber and drops it into this carton, which slides under the extractor housing. When it is full, you close and remove it without tipping dust from one container into another. The shredded paper itself still goes into the shredder's own bin or bag.

Fit across Powerline installations

The DE 4-100 is built in versions for different host machines, including the Powerline FA 400.2 / SP 4040 V and the FA 500.3 / SP 5080 / SP 5088. The carton is matched to the extractor, not to the shredder beneath it, so one part number covers every DE 4-100 and DE 4-240 on a site. It does not fit any SECURIO or Classic shredder cabinet.

Dust box specifications

HSM sets no change interval because dust output depends on how hard the shredder works and how fine it cuts. Change the box when suction drops or dust appears around the machine, and keep one with the service supplies.
