HSM part 1850995200 (article 1.850.995.200) is the corrugated collecting box shared by the HSM SECURIO P36i and P40i, two departmental floor-standing shredders built on the same cabinet. At 18.9 x 15.16 x 22.05 in (480 x 385 x 560 mm) it is the biggest box in HSM's SECURIO consumables list, sized for machines that serve a whole department.

One carton for two departmental shredders

The P36i and P40i differ in cutting head and throughput, but their waste compartments are identical, so a site with both machines needs only this one part number. The P44i is a different story: its bigger cabinet takes part 1870995200, and a 1850995200 carton would sit too low and too narrow inside it. The B-series cartons do not fit either.

Cardboard box or plastic bag?

A carton keeps the load all paper, so it can often go to a paper recycler as is, and it stays upright while filling. Bags weigh less to carry and can be sealed for off-site destruction. Many organizations use bags for confidential collection and cartons for routine in-house recycling.

Give one person responsibility for changing the box, and keep two or three spares folded behind the machine before a big records clear-out. HSM does not state a filled weight, but a box this large packed with fine cross-cut waste needs two people to lift.
