HSM part 1767995200 is the white corrugated collecting box for the HSM StoreEx OMDD 130, a shredder for optical, magnetic and chip-based data media. It measures 21.02 x 15.75 x 10.24 in (534 x 400 x 260 mm), much shallower than HSM's paper-shredder boxes, because shredded media is heavy enough that a deeper box would be too heavy to lift once full.

Why media particles call for a low, white box

Fragments of discs, platters and chip carriers are sharp and dense. They reach a sensible carrying weight long before they reach the top of a tall carton, so HSM keeps this box low enough for one person to lift out when it is loaded. Removing the whole box and closing it is cleaner and safer than pouring abrasive particles out of a bag, and it keeps custody of the material intact on its way to the recycler. HSM does not include a lid, so plan your own closure if boxes leave the site, and label each box when you seal it.

Compatibility

HSM lists this box for device type OMDD 130 only. It does not fit the StoreEx HDS 150 or HDS 230, and it is not interchangeable with the SECURIO or Classic paper-shredder cartons.
