Frequently Asked Questions
Does this box fit every version of the Classic 411.2?
Yes. HSM lists one collecting box, article 1565995200, for the whole 411 device type, so it covers the cross-cut, micro-cut and high-security versions of the Classic 411.2 as well as the auto-oiler and OMDD variants. The security level of the cutting head does not change the cabinet dimensions, so the same box seats correctly in all of them.
How many boxes come in the pack?
One. This listing is a single box, not a bundle. HSM does not publish a multi-pack article number for the 411 box, so if you want a month's supply you order the quantity you need of this same part number.
What volume does the box hold?
HSM does not publish a litre or gallon rating for this box. Its external dimensions of 532 x 390 x 569 mm work out to roughly 118 litres of gross volume, but the usable capacity is lower because the box sits under the cutting head and the shred piles unevenly. Treat 118 litres as an upper bound, not a fill line.
Is this the same box as the one for the SECURIO P44i?
No. The P44i box is HSM article 1870995200 and measures 600 x 445 x 569 mm. It is 68 mm wider and 55 mm deeper than this one. The two are not interchangeable in either direction, so check the article number against your machine before ordering.
Can I use a plain moving box from a packaging supplier instead?
You can, but only if it matches 532 x 390 x 569 mm closely and the board is stiff enough to stay square when loaded. Shredded paper is heavier than it looks and a soft-walled box bulges against the cabinet, which makes it difficult to withdraw when full. The HSM box is cut to the cabinet and is the low-risk option.
