Why the 411.2 needs its exact carton

The Classic 411.2 cabinet has a fixed inner footprint, and the box has to sit square under the cutting head. A generic carton just 20 mm too large will not seat properly, and an off-center box is where spills and jams begin. Because the cutting head's security level does not change the cabinet, one part fits every 411.2 configuration. It does not fit the SECURIO P44i, which takes 1870995200, or the StoreEx OMDD 130, which takes 1767995200.

HSM does not publish a volume for this box. Its outside dimensions give about 118 liters gross, but shreddings pile unevenly under the cutters, so usable space is lower. When a 411.2 runs most of the day, buy boxes in quantity so there is always a fresh one ready; a half-full box with no replacement on hand is a common reason a shred room stops mid-shift.
