The MBM AC0924 is a case of extra-thick shred bags for the biggest Destroyit machines: the 4106, the cross-cut 4105 and the high-capacity 5009, old or new bin style. MBM rates the film at about double the thickness of its office-machine bags, which suits loads of 65 to 79 gallons of cross-cut particles. It is the bag to stock if your site runs one of those central shredders.

Picking the right AC0924 size

Three formats share this number, so the order needs to say which machine and, for a 5009, which bin generation. The two 5009 sizes are easy to confuse: the older-style bag is wider and shorter, the current one narrower and taller. Measuring a used bag flat is the surest check. Owners of a 4105 should confirm it has the cross-cut head, because the strip-cut version takes AC0922.

A note on the 4000SS listed in the title

The product name includes the 4000SS extra large, but MBM supplies that bin with its own 88-gallon bag, 54 x 75 in flat, under AC0901. Order AC0901 for a 4000SS rather than this case.

Liners are optional on several Destroyit bins, though most operators use them to keep dust contained and make emptying simpler. A 5009 fitted with MBM's modular exit conveyor carries shred to an external container instead, so sites with that accessory usually keep a case only as a backup for conveyor downtime.
