My machine is a 4105. Is this the right bag?
Only if it is the strip-cut 4105. MBM splits the 4105 by cut type for bags: the strip-cut version takes the 60-gallon AC0922 bag at 36 x 75 inches flat, while the cross-cut version takes the 65-gallon AC0924 bag at 52 x 58 inches. Check the cut type on the machine plate before ordering, because the two bags are different shapes as well as different volumes.
What is the difference between the 60 and 65-gallon bags?
Shape more than volume. The 60-gallon bag is 36 inches wide and 75 inches tall, suited to the deeper, narrower bin on the 4104 and strip-cut 4105. The 65-gallon bag is 44 inches wide and 64 inches tall for the wider bin on the 4107, 4108 and 4109. Swapping them leaves the bag either too narrow to fold over the frame or too short to reach the bottom.
How many bags are in a case?
MBM states the pack quantity as "1 case" and publishes no bag count for AC0922. If the number matters for budgeting or a purchase order, ask us and we will confirm it with the distributor before you commit.
Can I use a heavy-duty contractor bag instead?
It is a poor substitute on these machines. The issue is not strength but fit: a contractor bag is cut for a round drum and will not fold over the rectangular bin frame, so it slips as the bin fills and lets shred fall behind the liner. If you want a third-party bag, match the flat dimensions above rather than the gallon rating.
