It is the largest of the three single‑bottle sizes HSM's US catalogue carries, and it is the one to choose for a high‑security or high‑duty machine that gets oiled several times a day, or for a shredder with an auto‑oiler reservoir to keep topped up.

The formulation is unremarkable in the best sense: a hydrotreated heavy paraffinic petroleum distillate at 90–100%, ISO viscosity grade 32, blended for HSM of America by Spectrum Lubricants. That grade is light enough to spread across the cutting head without dragging on the motor and heavy enough to stay where it is put. The bottle uses a narrowed tip so the oil goes onto the head rather than into the bin.
