HSM is a German manufacturer, sold in the United States through HSM of America, and it is the largest range on this site by a wide margin — over 300 listings covering almost every size of machine we sell.

The range is organised into families. SECURIO is the office line: C-series desk-side machines, B-series floor-standing units and AF auto-feed models, spanning P-2 strip-cut through P-6 micro-cut, with throats from 8.9 to 15.75 inches and bins from 6.6 to 34 gallons. Powerline covers industrial shredders and the SP shredder-baler combinations. ProfiPack is a different product altogether — cardboard converters that turn used boxes into packaging padding. Consumables, bins and lubricant carry the same brand.

A useful characteristic of the SECURIO range is that the same chassis is offered at several cut sizes, so you can hold the machine constant and choose the security level: a B24 exists at P-2, P-4, P-5 and P-6, with sheet capacity falling from 12–14 down to 6 as the particle gets finer.
