Does this bag fit the SECURIO B22 or a Classic 105?
No. Those smaller machines take part 3310000001 (HSM1310), an 11 gallon bag measuring 24 by 13 by 10 inches. The 3310000014 bag is 32 inches tall and will bunch up badly in a B22 or 105 cabinet. Check the machine model before ordering; the two bags are one step apart in the range and are easy to confuse.
How often will I need to change it on an AF300?
That depends entirely on volume rather than on the machine. As a rough planning figure, 13 gallons of cross-cut shred is on the order of 1,200 to 1,500 sheets of 20 lb paper, though micro-cut output packs denser and fills a bag faster than cross-cut. A department feeding 300 pages a day through an AF300 should expect to change the bag around once a week.
Is 1 mil thick enough for micro-cut shred?
For normal office use, yes. 1 mil clear film is what HSM specifies for this cabinet and it handles cross-cut and micro-cut particles without puncturing. Where it does struggle is staples, paper clips and CD or card fragments left in the bin, which can nick the film when the bag is dragged out. Lift the bag rather than dragging it and the failure rate drops sharply.
Can I get these in a smaller quantity than 100?
Not from HSM. The bag is manufactured on a 100-count roll and that is the only pack size in the HSM catalog. If 100 bags is more than a single machine will use in a couple of years, it is usually worth splitting a pack across several machines in the same building that share the B24 or Classic 108 cabinet.
