Why a 1 x 5 mm particle matters

NSA/CSS 02-01 allows a residue no larger than 1 x 5 mm, which is also the DIN 66399 ceiling for P-7. P-7 waste is close to dust and packs tightly, so the 38.3-gallon (145-liter) bin holds about 2,667 sheets, the highest figure in the P36i range. Empty it inside the secure area and wear a dust mask while doing so. Standby falls to 0.1 W, and idle noise is about 55 dB(A).
