Who Should Buy This — and Who Should Not

This suits legal, HR, clinical research and R&D teams whose retention policy names P-6, and who also need a defensible route for discs and cards. The separate OMDD unit is the reason to choose this over a plain micro-cut shredder: media never touches the paper head, and it is destroyed to 2 x 2 mm rather than merely cracked.

Do not buy it if you are shredding volume. Eleven to thirteen sheets per pass is roughly a third of what the P-4 version manages, and a P-6 machine used as a general office shredder becomes a queue.
