Frequently Asked Questions
Which machines does HSM actually list this bag for?
HSM's part listing for NB210R02830 names the Classic 108 and the Classic 125.2. HSM's US catalog description for the same part also covers the SECURIO B26 series. Those are the models we can confirm from manufacturer sources. If your machine is not one of them, ask before ordering rather than assuming a close match.
Can I wash it?
HSM does not publish washing instructions for this bag, so we will not invent an answer. In practice sites shake them out and vacuum them rather than washing, because paper dust in a wet nylon bag is difficult to dry fully and a damp bag will make the next load clump.
Is it the same as the bag for a SECURIO B32?
No. The SECURIO B32 and B34, along with the Classic 225, take part 3NB210R03330 instead. HSM makes three reusable nylon bags across this range and they look very similar side by side, but they are cut for different cabinet depths and are not interchangeable. Order by part number rather than by appearance, and if you are not sure which cabinet you have, the model number is on the plate at the back of the machine.
Does it replace the disposable bags entirely?
For internal recycling, yes. For a chain-of-custody workflow where shredded material leaves the building sealed, no. A nylon bag cannot be tied off and handed over, so sites with a destruction contractor generally keep disposable liners for that purpose and use the reusable bag for routine, non-sensitive volume.
