Who Should Buy This - and Who Should Not

This configuration earns its cost where material already arrives in wire mesh carts and where the volume justifies a machine with a 6-metre footprint and a 7.4-tonne mass. Distribution centres, large recycling operations and industrial sites producing steady cardboard and film volumes are the natural fit. The lift-tilt option specifically suits sites where loading is currently manual and where that manual handling is a documented problem.

It is the wrong machine for an office, a small print room, or any site without three-phase power, a level reinforced floor and clear access for delivery and positioning. If your material arrives loose or in large refuse containers rather than mesh carts, HSM offers the HL 7009 with a bevelled hopper or with a large refuse container lift-tilt instead, and one of those will serve you better than adapting mesh carts to suit the machine. Sites baling only shredded office paper from a document shredder should look at the vertical KP series or an FA 500.3 / SP 5080 combination rather than a 700 kN horizontal channel press.
