Why choose cart tipping over a hopper

On a press of this size, hand loading is both the slowest part of the cycle and the main source of strain injuries. The lift-tilt unit takes that step away: carts are filled where waste is produced, brought to the press and emptied mechanically. It is the right configuration where material already moves around the site in wire mesh carts. Where it arrives loose or at height, HSM's bevelled hopper version is simpler and cheaper, and a variant for large refuse containers is also offered.

Real output depends on how quickly carts are filled and swapped, and will normally be well below the idle number. The 1020 x 900 mm loading aperture accepts flattened boxes and loose film without pre-cutting.

Lift-tilt or hopper-fed HL 7009?

The bevelled hopper HL 7009 costs less and has fewer hydraulics to maintain, and it works well where material is tipped in from height or arrives by conveyor. This lift-tilt version costs more but removes manual lifting from every load. If your site bales only shredded office paper, a 700 kN channel press is the wrong tool; HSM's SP 5080 shredder-baler or a vertical KP press fits that job.

Order it for distribution centers, recycling operations and manufacturers with steady cardboard and film volumes, carts already in circulation, and a documented manual-handling problem at the baler.
