The HSM Executive Shred Console 1070070230 is the 24-inch version of HSM's lockable collection cabinet, rated at up to 20 gallons. At 24 inches tall it slides under a standard desk or counter, which is the reason most buyers choose it over the taller 36-inch console. Like every console, it stores confidential paper securely until it is taken to a shredder; it does not destroy anything itself.
