HSM Executive Security Console - 1070070150

The HSM Executive Security Console (part 1070070150) is a 36-inch-tall locking cabinet that stores up to 30 gallons of confidential paper until it is taken away for shredding. It does not shred anything itself. Staff drop documents through the top slot, a slam lock and an anti-phishing deflector keep them inside, and a keyholder empties the console into a shredder on a set schedule. It is the larger of HSM's two executive consoles, suited to a busy copier area, mailroom or shared floor.

A console works best where sensitive paper is created, beside the copier, at reception or in the mailroom, not next to the shredder. Its point is to stop loose documents lying on desks between shredding sessions. Plastic feet let it slide into position without marking floors, and the 20 x 15.75 in footprint fits most corridor alcoves. It is made in North America in office gray.

It works with any shredder, HSM or not, because nothing connects to the machine.
