HSM article 2461111 is a bolt-on infeed table extension for the HSM Powerline FA 400.2 shredder and the SP 4040 V shredder/baler combination. It widens the working surface in front of the feed opening to 67.3 in (1709 mm), so an operator can empty a full archive box onto it and push material into the cutters in a steady flow. It is meant for sites that run an FA 400.2 for long stretches and want less lifting between box and throat.

Which machines take 2461111

The SP 4040 V is an FA 400.2 shredder paired with a KP 40 V baling press, so both share the same front end and the same table. The larger Powerline chassis is a different story: the FA 500.3, SP 5080 and SP 5088 need article 2460111, and the two parts are not interchangeable. Because HSM sells several table and hopper add-ons for the Powerline line, quote the article number on your order rather than a description.

Planning the space in front of the FA 400.2

With the extension mounted, the operator stands about 593 mm (23.3 in) further forward than before, and the table sticks out past the machine on each side. A shredder pushed into a corner or tight against a wall may need to move before fitting. If staff bring paper on carts, check that a cart can still roll right up to the table edge. Mounting can be done by your own operator or by a technician during installation or a later service call.

No. This table is made only for the FA 400.2 and the SP 4040 V combination. The FA 500.3, SP 5080 and SP 5088 use the bigger 2460111 table, which measures 69.6 x 27.4 x 29.1 in. The mounting differs between the two chassis, so one cannot be adapted to the other.

Will the table extension make my FA 400.2 shred faster?
