MBM DSH0397O 4003 super micro-cut 1/32" x 3/16" (.8 x 5 mm)

The MBM DSH0397O is the super micro-cut configuration of the Destroyit 4003, shredding paper to 1/32 x 3/16 in (0.8 x 5 mm) particles at DIN 66399 P-7. It pairs that 4 mm² particle with a 16 in feed opening, a 44-gallon bin and a 1.75 hp motor on a regular 115 V supply, and it takes 8 to 9 sheets per pass. It is meant for a department with a P-7 requirement and more paper than a compact deskside model can comfortably handle.

Why choose the 4003 chassis for P-7 work

A P-7 head is slow on any machine, so what usually limits a secure room is how much paper fits through the throat and how often the bin must be emptied. The 4003 answers both: the 16 in opening accepts letter and legal pages long edge first, and its 44-gallon bin, packed with dense micro-cut waste, takes a long time to fill. Compared with the 2604 version of the same cut, it also adds a sheet or so per pass.

Capacity is quoted on 70 gsm paper. MBM itself says working throughput may drop to around half of the theoretical rating, so feed small handfuls and expect fewer legal-size sheets per pass than letter-size.

The warranty on super micro-cut shafts is 1 year, and the head is rated for paper only, so clips, cards and discs must stay out.
