The intimus 60 CP4 (279154S1) is a P-4 cross-cut shredder that cuts paper to 3.8 x 30 mm and feeds up to 17 sheets at a time into a 60-liter (16-gallon) bin. It is the quickest model in the intimus 60 series and the one with the widest list of approved materials. It is a good fit for a workgroup, accounts team or front office that destroys a steady volume of routine confidential paperwork.

Where the 60 CP4 sits in the 60 series

intimus builds three heads into this 30.3 in tall cabinet: P-4, P-5 and P-7. The CP4 gives up the finer particle of its siblings in exchange for the biggest stack and the broadest material approval. At 114 mm² its particle is comfortably under the P-4 limit of 160 mm², and the head also carries O-3, T-4, F-1 and E-3 ratings for discs, cards, film and electronic media. For invoices, statements, HR forms and printed customer records, that is the level most commercial disposal policies ask for.

A bigger bin for a shared machine

Compared with the 45-liter cabinet, the 60 series adds height rather than footprint: both are 17.7 x 15.4 in at the base. The extra volume lets a team of a few people go longer between bag changes, typically emptying once or twice a week. Automatic start and stop, an auto-reverse for overfed stacks, and lit indicators for standby, bin full, door open and jams make it easy for occasional users. Castors let you roll it to the filing area.

Letter, legal and A4 feed short edge first through the 9.25 in throat; tabloid will need folding. Bags are not supplied, so order 60-liter liners with the machine, and plan on oiling the head regularly to keep its full capacity.
