The 20736 is where Dahle's bag range steps up in gauge. At 24 x 26 x 60 inches it is built for industrial cabinets holding 56 to 70 gallons, and unlike the smaller sizes it is made from 2 mil plastic rather than 1.5 mil — a necessary difference once a full bag is carrying the weight of 60-plus gallons of shredded paper. The 909 HS is the only machine in the current Dahle range with a bin in this band. The bag will serve any industrial cabinet or console rated 56 to 70 gallons. Below that, the 45 and 50 gallon machines take the 20726; the 120-gallon PowerTEC® 929 IS takes the 4 mil 20737.

Specifications

At five feet tall the bag is designed to be dropped into a deep industrial cabinet and cuffed over the rim, not stood in an open bin. Budget for two people at change-out: a 68-gallon bag of high-security shred is heavy, and the sensible practice on the 909 HS is to change at around three-quarters full rather than waiting for the bin-full indicator. Keep at least one spare box on site. This is a single-source consumable with no equivalent elsewhere in the Dahle range, and an industrial shredder standing idle for want of a bag is an expensive way to save on stock.
