Does the Dahle 20725 bag fit the CleanTEC 51422?
Yes. The 51422 has a 30-gallon cabinet, which is the top of the 20725's 20 to 30 gallon range. The same bag also fits the other 30-gallon Dahle models: the 51414, 51464, 51472, 41434, 40430, 40434, 50410, 50414 and 50464.
Will 20725 bags work in 23-gallon Dahle shredders?
Yes. The 23-gallon 40330, 40334, 50310, 50314, 41334, 51314 and 51322 all fall within this bag's range. The bag rises slightly above the rim in these smaller cabinets, which is expected and gives you material to tie it closed. Dahle does not make a separate 23-gallon bag.
Can I use the larger 20726 bag in a 30-gallon cabinet?
It is better not to. The 20726 measures 24 x 48 x 20 inches, and in a 30-gallon cabinet the excess film folds back inside where it can be pulled toward the cutting head. Use the 20725 for cabinets up to 30 gallons and the 20726 above that.
When should a 20725 bag be changed?
Change it when the shredder signals a full bin, or earlier if the weight becomes hard to manage. Fine micro-cut shred from P-6 and P-7 machines is much denser than cross-cut, so on those models many offices swap the bag before it is completely full.
Can 20725 shred bags be recycled?
The plastic film can usually go with soft-plastic recycling where that is collected, but the paper inside decides the main disposal route. Many confidential waste services prefer loose shred or their own sacks, so check your provider's requirements first.
